Tractor rental · Columbia & Marion County, MS

Rent the tractor. Skip the note.

Bush hogging, box blade work, food plots and pasture upkeep — for the handful of weekends a year you actually need one.

What it's for

The jobs a tractor makes short work of.

Most people who buy a tractor use it about eight days a year. Renting one for those eight days costs a fraction of owning, storing, insuring and maintaining a machine that sits under a shed the rest of the time.

  • Bush hogging — pastures, fields, road frontage, overgrown lots
  • Box blade & grading — driveways, ruts, washouts, lanes
  • Food plots — disking, planting and maintaining before the season
  • Property clean-up — brush, storm debris, old fence lines
  • Loader work — dirt, gravel, feed, hay, round bales
  • Post holes — fence lines, gates and corners with an auger
  • Deer camp & hunting land — lanes, plots and access roads

Rent vs. buy

The math most people never run.

A new compact tractor with a loader and a cutter is a five-figure purchase and a monthly payment for years. Add a shed to keep it in, insurance, tires, filters, fluids and the tractor you can't sell for what you owe.

A rental is a phone call, a few days, and it goes back.

If you're on the fence about buying, rent one first for the exact job you had in mind. You'll learn more about what you actually need in one weekend than in a month of looking at dealer lots — and if you do buy, you'll buy the right size.

Renting one here

Why people call us first.

Seasonal, not year-round

Spring green-up and fall food plots are the busy weeks. Call early on both.

Trailer in one stop

Rent an equipment trailer with the tractor and haul it straight to the property.

Implements

Cutters, box blades, augers and more — ask what's on the yard for your dates.

Weekend or week

Most land jobs are a weekend. Bigger acreage is a week. Both are easy.

Tractor rental FAQ

Straight answers

Can I rent a tractor in Columbia, MS?

Yes. Call (601) 736-9400 for what's available and today's rate — daily, weekend and weekly terms.

Does it come with a bush hog?

Implements are rented with the tractor, and what's on the yard changes week to week. Tell us the job when you call — cutter, box blade, auger — and we'll confirm what we can put behind it for your dates.

How many acres can I cut in a day?

It depends on the growth, the terrain and the cutter width, but a day is usually plenty for a typical few-acre property. Tell us the acreage and how heavy the growth is and we'll give you a realistic answer before you book.

How do I haul it?

On an equipment trailer, which you can rent from us at the same time. Give us your truck and hitch when you call so we get the right trailer under it.

I've never run a tractor. Is that a problem?

No, but say so. We'll go over the controls, the PTO, and the safety points that matter most — especially on hills and around fence lines.

When should I book for food plots?

Earlier than you think. Late summer and early fall are the busiest weeks of the year for tractor rentals around here, and everyone wants the same weekend. Call ahead and we'll hold it.
